Ghana’s sensational rapper, Tulenkey, has said that before you get nominated at the VGMAs, you need to have a personal ‘connection’ with the board.
“I think with the VGMA, you need to have a connection or know someone there before you get nominated; that’s how I see it,” H stated.
He made this revelation to Nana Ama Shancy on Spice FM’s OFIE ne fie.
The “boys boys” hitmaker was refused a nomination last year at the VGMA in the “Best Rap Performance category,” which got him feeling disappointed.
Just compare Teephlow with me, and be honest with the nominations, I mean upon all the hard work”, He lamented.
According to Tulenkey, he filed for nomination, yet he wasn’t added to the list which made him super disappointed.
” Yes I did file for nomination, but I was still ignored but charley we move”, he replied. Well according to the rapper he still believes In himself and his unique talent and he knows this is not going to stop him.
