Prestea- Huni Valley Municipal Health Directorate Praises Barbara Oteng For Immense Contribution Towards Health Care Delivery
The Municipal Health Director of Prestea -Huni Valley Health Directorate, Mr Timothy K. Ofori, has praised Madam Babara Oteng for her significant contributions to the improvement of health delivery in the Municipality.
Mr Ofori mentioned that through the efforts of Madam Oteng, some health centres are undergoing rehabilitation and expansion, some of which is the construction of a three-story ultra-modern children’s block at Prestea Government Hospital, the construction of Bogoso Government Hospital, expansion, and rehabilitation works at Huni- Valley Health Center, as well as Aboso Health Center.
He also touched on the provision of equipment to health centres and CHPS compounds dotted within the Municipality.
A plague was presented to Madam Barbara Oteng by the Health directorate to show gratitude for her exceptional achievement.
In her acceptance speech, Madam Barbara Oteng gave an assurance of her commitment to ensuring quality healthcare delivery in the area.
She also disclosed that two Ambulances are currently being lobbied for.
