VGMA Must Pay Me Before I Join The Award Scheme -Patapaa

Ghanaian musician Patapaa, known for the “jama” kind of music, as he terms it, has stated boldly and clearly that the VGMA board shouldn’t think of including him in their award scheme unless they’re ready to pay him.

The “one corner” hitmaker made this revelation on Spice 91.9FM’s OFIE ne fie with Nana Ama Shancy.

Patapaa explained by saying Ghanaian award organizers are dishonest and cheat, therefore he wants no business with them even though he’s still doing music.

”Any award organizer who wants me to show up at their event must pay me, otherwise I’m not joining. After-all people are going to enjoy my performance but frankly speaking, I don’t need any awards. Ghanaian award organizers are cheats especially VGMA”, he fumed.

Patapaa hasn’t gotten over the fact that an award he felt was meant for him was given to Northern Region’s very own, Fancy Gadam. Thus he stated boldly that whatever that has to do with awards here in Ghana, he’s out.
