The Parliamentary Candidate for the New Patriotic Party in Wassa Amenfi West Constituency of the Western Region, Ignatius Akwasi Afrifa, has said that, with a united front coupled with education, development in the area is assured.
He made these remarks when he submitted his nomination forms at the party’s office at Asankrangwa.
” I come to lead a united and educated Wassa Amenfi to propel development,” He said.
Ignatius Afrifa comes to battle the incumbent NDC MP, Honourable Eric Afful, whose party has given him the mandate to contest his second term bid.
The NPP has since 1992 not been able to occupy the Amenfi West Parliamentary Seat.
The party has only won a by-election with the Former Member of Parliament, Agnes Sonful in 2002 when the then NDC MP Abraham Kofi Asante resigned from Parliament.
Though Alwais Afrifa is contesting the Amenfi West Parliamentary seat, his vision spans the whole of Wassa Amenfi.
