Vice Chairman for Akosombo Krystal Palace, Gideon Ofosu has expressed interest in contesting for the position of an Executive Council member of the Ghana Football Association for the second time.
In an interview with Spice Sports, he stated that he missed out on the Executive Committee position by just two votes and expressed optimism ahead of the next elections.
“In the last elections, I contested and I lost by two votes so since the vision is still there, I want to connect more, every stakeholder needs to come on board. We should also be focused on our destination as well. This is my passion and I have never lost out on it.
I want to bring s bit of structure and business mindset for our football “he told Spice Sports.
As a member of the division one league Executive Committee, he emphasized that there has been a massive improvement in the division one league in terms of officiating and player licensing adding that there is still more room for improvement.
He also hailed the GFA for making the marketing side of football vibrant through sponsorship deals.
According to him, Kurt Okraku has been successful in fulfilling his manifesto and campaign promises and for this reason should be given another chance at the Presidency.
