The PRO for the Appiatse Disaster Relief Committee, Thywill Quarshie has received an Honorary Doctorate Degree from Elohim Theological College & Seminary for his dedication to the service to Humanity.
Dr Thywill Quarshie Awudzah was awarded a DOCTOR OF HUMANE LETTERS (Honoris Corsa) for his outstanding efforts in managing the Appiatse Disaster, organizing blood drives for hospitals throughout the Western Region, and other volunteer activities.
After receiving the honour, Dr Thywill Quarshie Awudzah thanked the ETCS Doctoral Board and promised to continue to do more for humanity.
“I receive this as a huge challenge and responsibility to continue to do more to serve humanity with the support of all” Dr Thywill Quarshie Awudzah stated.
Dr Thywill Quarshie Awudzah, better known as Big Quarsh in the media, was given the title “The digital PRO” for his use of social media to update the press on the Appiatse Disaster minute by minute.
The Chairman of the Appiatse Disaster Relief Committee and the MCE for PRESTEA Huni-Valley Municipal Assembly, Hon. Isaac Dasmani praised him for his commitment to service and willingness to assist others.
“I’m not surprised to see this today because Dr Thywill Quarshie Awudzah is a very committed and hard-working man who is constantly moving to get things done. I strongly believe more of these honours will follow.”
