Adisadel College: Student arrested for violent attack and subsequently charged with assault

After a disturbing viral video showed an Adisadel College student choking his fellow classmate in a dormitory, the police in Cape Coast swiftly took action and arrested the perpetrator.

The student was charged with causing harm and assault and later released into the custody of the school’s Headmaster to appear in court on Friday.

Concerned about the victim’s well-being, the school has recalled him after an initial suspension. He is currently undergoing medical treatment, and the school has arranged for a psychologist to provide him with the essential support and counseling to help him cope with the trauma.

The incident has sparked widespread concern and outrage from parents, students, and the public, raising questions about the safety and welfare of students in educational institutions.

In response to the incident, the school took immediate action and suspended all students involved, including the perpetrator, pending further investigations.
