Speaking to Beach Newsroom, the Western Regional Manager of Zoomlion-Private Services Limited, King David Delali Kumah, said, “traditionally Zoomlion had people going to collect our revenue with receipt books from house to house. Now that there is this new wave and current need for digitalization, there’s the need for us to advance, go with the speed of technology and adopt to the way of doing new things. Now our clients will enjoy the benefit of making payments at any time from anywhere, and this will save us the hustle of sending our revenue collectors out there who are sometimes attacked by dogs or face several inconveniences.”
Touching on the digital drive and agenda of Zoomlion to meet the needs of their clients, Mr Delali Kumah revealed that, his outfit will launch an application in the Western Region called ‘Borla Taxi App‘ where clients can request waste disposal services at any point in time.
“Aside we doing the *857# we are coming up with the Borla Taxi App, just like Uber, our clients can just request our services from anywhere. We have some modernized tricycles (aboboyaa) in the system to do that. Very soon we will be rolling this out in the Western Region.”
