George Amoako – The Black Stars’ performance under Chris Hughton has been unimpressive.

George Amoako, a member of the Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), expressed his disappointment with Chris Hughton’s performance as the head coach of the Black Stars. Since taking charge after Otto Addo’s departure, Hughton has overseen three games, with the team securing only one win and drawing the other two.

During a recent interview with Angel FM, Amoako stated that Hughton’s impact as the main man in charge has been minimal, and he has not been impressed with the team’s performances under his guidance.

Amoako specifically mentioned the matches against Madagascar and Angola, expressing his concerns about the team’s display during those games.

Despite his disappointment, Amoako remains hopeful that the team will qualify for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations. Hughton will have an opportunity to change perceptions in September when Ghana faces the Central African Republic in the final game of the AFCON qualifiers.
