Speaker Instructs 7-member Parliamentary Caucus To Probe Alleged Audio About The Expulsion Of The IGP.

A seven-member Special Committee has been established by the Speaker of Parliament to look into the audio recording that was released regarding a plot to have Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr Geroge Akuffo Dampare removed.

The Speaker charged the Committee with investigating the recording’s veracity and looking into a plot to unseat the present IGP, among other things revealed in the audio.

The names of the candidates for the Committee must be submitted by the House leadership within a week.
