Real Madrid signs 18-year-old Arda Guler foward from Fenerbhace
Real Madrid has successfully completed the signing of Arda Guler, an 18-year-old playmaker from Fenerbahce, Turkey.
Guler, often referred to as ‘the Turkish Messi,’ has agreed to a six-year contract with Real Madrid, where he will join England’s Jude Bellingham.
During the previous season, Guler scored four goals and provided four assists, including an impressive performance in the Turkish Cup final, where he was named Man of the Match. Last month, he became the youngest player to score for the Turkish national team.
Guler made his debut for Fenerbahce at the age of 16 and recorded an assist in his first appearance in the Super Lig. He was also entrusted with the number 10 shirt last season.
Despite interest from several top clubs in Europe, including Arsenal, Manchester United, Newcastle, Bayern Munich, and Paris St-Germain, Real Madrid secured Guler’s signature. The transfer fee has not been officially disclosed but is estimated to be around 20 million euros.
Guler joins a long list of promising young talents at Real Madrid, including Bellingham, Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo, Aurelien Tchouameni, and Eduardo Camavinga.
