IGP tours police stations to assess quality of service delivered to the public
The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, is undertaking a visit to police stations in Accra today, Thursday, July 6. The purpose of this visit is to evaluate the quality of service provided to the public when they seek assistance at police stations.
The first stop on the IGP’s itinerary is the Amasaman Divisional Headquarters. Accompanying him are members of the Police Management Board. During the visit, the IGP will also meet with officers who are currently indisposed in the various stations he visits.
The Police administration has been conducting assessments of the overall security situation in different parts of the country. As an example, last week, the Central North Regional Commander, DCOP Mr. Emmanuel Teye-Cudjoe, along with ASP Stella Adjei-Kodom and ASP Margaret Avornyo, conducted a security tour to assess the general security situation in the Assin Bereku Presby Basic School in the Central Region of Ghana.
In summary, the IGP, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, is conducting a visit to police stations in Accra to evaluate the quality of service provided to the public. This visit is part of the ongoing assessments being carried out by the Police administration to ensure the overall security of the country.
