Ukrainian counter-offensive advancing on all fronts – Zelensky
President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced significant progress in the Ukrainian counter-offensive against Russian forces, stating that advances have been made on all fronts.
While he did not provide specific details, pro-Russian commentators claim that Ukrainian troops have successfully crossed the Dnipro river and recaptured a village near Kherson.
Yesterday, Ukraine’s deputy defense minister, Hanna Maliar, also confirmed that Ukrainian forces have regained control over Rivnopil, a village located in the Donetsk region.
This accomplishment occurred to the west of a group of settlements that had previously been retaken in offensive operations.
In a late-night video address, President Zelensky expressed his optimism and satisfaction with the ongoing military operations.
Speaking from a train after visiting frontline positions, he referred to Monday as a “happy day” and declared that Ukrainian troops have made progress in all directions along the front. The president’s remarks conveyed the overall positive momentum and advancements being achieved by Ukrainian forces.
