2024: I’m John Mahama and the NDC’s fear -Dr Mahamudu Bawumia

Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President, has assured NPP delegates that he remains to be the party’s greatest chance of retaining power after the 2024 elections.

He said, if the NPP chooses him to run for president, he will defeat John Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, in the 2024 elections.

While addressing NPP delegates in the Tema West constituency of the Greater Accra Region, Dr. Bawumia stated that the NPP has to choose a candidate who can end the curse of the eight-year election cycle.

The Vice President hinted that he is the presidential candidate that the National Democratic (NDC) and former president John Mahama dread the most in the upcoming 2024 elections.

“They know we will break the 8, and they know that John Mahama cannot take me on in the North, and they know that I will beat him in the North and this is why they don’t want me to be the flagbearer.”

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on Friday, June 16 submitted his presidential nomination forms paving the way for him to contest in the NPP flagbearership race.
