The governing board has Professor Yaa Ntiamoah Badu as its Chairperson.

He said the National Entrepreneurial Innovation Program, NEIP and National Service Scheme, NSS would facilitate the recruitment of the youth to participate in the project.

President Akuffo Addo was emphatic that the novel project is different from the previous state farms.

The Chairperson of the Development Authority, Professor Yaa Ntiamoah Badu was confident that the project would be successful.

The Minister of Finance selected MIDA to take over the implementation phase of the Ghana Care Obaatanpa Project and Coordinate all the activities related to the economic component. This is in recognition of MIDA’s track record of project management and its capacity to handle related accountability.

As the coordinating entity for the project, MiDA is expected to adopt and follow the same systematic approach to project management that characterize the implementation of Ghana’s compact project.
