PIAC Advises GNPC To Focus On Its Mandate

A member of the Public Interest and Accountability Committee, Alhaji Suleman Anderson, is urged by the management of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation, GNPC to focus on its PIAC annual report.

At a meeting dubbed, Time With PIAC, Alhaji Suleman raised issues about the operations of the Corporation.

He mentioned that some of the road constructions funded by the Corporation are the responsibility of the government, and advised the Corporation to focus on its mandate.

Alhaji Suleman revealed that since 2014, GNPC has used Hundred and Two-Four point 66 Million dollars in constructing roads on the corridors of the Western Region.

He nonetheless advised the government to desist from borrowing from the Corporation.
