The Parliamentary Candidate for Shama Constituency, Dr Eric Cobbinah has expressed optimism about winning the NDC primaries election which is scheduled for tomorrow, May 13, 2023.
He said he is not swayed by his competitors as he possesses the qualities to represent the people of Shama.
According to the former DCE, his achievement speaks for him hence believes that the delegates will vote for him.
“I have been in the contest before so I don’t come in as a new face. I come in as an established and strong candidate who is tried, tested and proven. So if you look at the credentials of the others and the offices they’ve held you may be swayed by that.
If it comes to our grassroots activities and our involvement in party activities, I stand tall. If you should look at what I was able to do as a DCE within one year, the entire district really appreciates it, and what the delegates are saying is this time around, they want one of their own,” He said.
Dr Eric Cobbinah, part of his promises to the delegates is to ensure that the 34 million Euros district hospital which has been abandoned is completed.
He further mentioned other infrastructural development which he will tackle to make
the community a better one.
He nonetheless mentioned the construction of a sea defence within the Shama Constituency and revive the economic outlook of the township,
