Accra Sports Stadium will not be sanctioned for football activities until completion of structural audit – NSA

The National Sports Authority (NSA) has announced the closure of the Accra Sports Stadium from all sporting activities until the completion of a structural audit.
This comes following widespread reportage that the NSA has rejected Hearts of Oak decision to host Nations FC at the Accra Sports Stadium this mid-week.
In a press release, the NSA explained a request from the Ghana Football Association was received late, and it was practically impossible to put the facility up for use taking into consideration the preparations and other protocol requirement needed to ensure the stadium host the game successfully.
Aside the Nations FC game, the NSA has stated that all other fixtures including Hearts of Oak’s game against Medeama will only be sanctioned after the completion structural audit which is currently ongoing.
