Interacting with Beach Newsroom, Madam Anastasia Armoo says, the body was retrieved after the necessary rituals were performed.
“We were here when someone came to tell us that they’d seen the body at the gate of Ekyir, but they could swim because it was dangerous. The body drifted to where my shop is and the young guys took boards and ropes to pull the body out of the sea.”
“The Police were also there but did not know what to do. Rituals were performed after which the dead body was retrieved; afterwards the police placed the body in a body bag and took it away”, Madam Armoo added.
