Thieves have broken into the St. Andrews Primary School in Sekondi making away with books, pens, toilet rolls, and other properties.
Parents Teacher Association Chairman of the School, Mr. Alex Andoh who confirmed the news indicated that he had a call from the head teacher of the school about the incident.
“When I got there, they had broken the padlocks, gained access to the classroom, and stolen almost everything. All the toilet rolls in the school have been stolen. They also took away brand new exercise books and many others”, he indicated.
According to him, the thieves also took turns defecating in the classrooms. “They also defecated in the classroom. We had to close the school for the pupils to go home until everywhere was cleaned before reopening”, he added.
He believes the thieves could be living in the community. “We are sending a caution to them that one day, their cup will be full. This is not the first time we are dealing with issues like this but we shall apprehend them one day”, he indicated.
