Vice President, Dr Mahamadu Bawumia has mentioned that Ghana like other nations is going through a severe economic crisis, which means the government needs the support of all including the church to work towards the development and economic prosperity of Ghanaians.
He pleaded with the church to be responsive to the needs of the members.
Speaking at the swearing-in of Apostle Amponsah Frimpong, and newly elected executives of the Christ Apostolic Church International, CACI, Vice President Bawumai reminded them of the responsibility entrusted to them and prayed for God’s infinite wisdom to carry out their mandate.
” We believe that by working and standing together, we can overturn these challenges into opportunities. Let us keep hope alive that better days are ahead of us and fast approaching than we first thought,” the Vice President assured.
Apostle Samuel Amponsah Frimoong on his part promised his administration will collaborate with governed t and other state actors to uphold the peace and unity in the country.
He advised Ghanaians to eschew the culture of instant justice and allow the laws of the land to work.
