Western Region Division 2 club, Fijai United Soccer Academy was involved in a car accident over the weekend whiles on their way to honor a division two fixture.
The sad incident happened on Sunday (19th February 2023) in front of the Sekondi School for the Deaf, Inchaban, a suburb of Sekondi.
However, the team progressed to the game center at Aboadze as it appeared that injuries which were sustained were minor.
On arrival, affected players were treated by medical officials and were able to honor the game against Dolphins FC in zone 1 group A.
The game ended 2:0 with Fijai United Soccer Academy carrying all three points on the day.
