LEBRON JAMES: FIRST NAME GREATEST, SECOND NAME EVER

LEBRON JAMES

Who knew the kid from Akron would be at the summit of basketball 20 seasons after he made his debut for the Cleveland? Who would have thought the self-proclaimed chosen would achieve feats unimagined or unheard of?

The Los Angeles Lakers superstar is now the top scorer in NBA history, surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s 38,387 career points record that had lasted for the past 39 years.

He did this in the third quarter of Tuesday’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder to a standing ovation.

Although they lost the game, no one cared because King James had done the impossible.
Lebron James had 37,062 points coming into the 2022-23 season and wasn’t far off from the record he was chasing given he had an injury free season.

In his career, Lebron had failed to score 1,326 points once, which was the number of points he needed to break this record.
Lebron can now add this latest accomplishment to his resume which includes 19x All Star game appearances, 4x MVP, 4 championships, 4 NBA final MVPs, 13x first team all selections, 2003-04 rookie of the year, 5x all defensive selections, fifteen playoff berths and all-time leading playoff scorer.

With every feat James achieves, he makes the case for why he is the undisputed greatest of all time, and I dare say a time is coming where he will stand alone, in a class of his own.
Lebron James is indeed the greatest there is, the greatest there was and the greatest there ever will be in the game of basketball. Kudos King James.
