The chief executive officer of Kent Investment and President of Ghana Chamber of Young Entrepreneur Mr Richard Addison has revealed that in order for a business to survive this year, entrepreneurs need to place much focus on collaborating and partnering with likeminded individuals.
The concept of entrepreneurship encompasses the creation of economic value and entailing risk beyond what is normally encountered in starting a business
“Entrepreneurship is not magical, it has nothing to do with how much money you have or do not have. It is essentially finding a problem and finding a solution to the problem to get financial benefit from your solution to the problem”, Mr Richard Addison said.
In considering the current state of the economy with financial uncertainties incorporated in businesses, Mr. Richard is advising young entrepreneurs to be on the right path towards having a good start on their businesses this year by focusing on collaborating and partnering with likeminded individuals.
Business partnership in essence is an entity formed by two or more individuals, each of whom contributes something such as capital or skills and also share profits and losses.
Speaking to Yao Mawutor Fianu on the Mid-Morning Lounge, a show that presents easy listening, hit songs to serve as an accompaniment to the working day Mr Richard Addison as part of Beach fm’s Start Right series which is an on air series to help one get the best out of 2023, asserts that taking some form of risk by sharing risk with likeminded people and including correct legal documents to protect everyone in the partnership will in the long run smoothen the workflow which will also result in reducing costs and increasing turnaround time, hence a successful business.
