President Nana Akuffo Addo Pays a working Visit to the Western Region

Nana Addo

The president of the Republic of Ghana, H.E Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo is expected to visit the region today to cut sod, inspect and commission some projects at the Takoradi Harbour, some of which include the Prime Meridian Docks (PMD) Floating Drydock and Ship Maintenance Facility, Oil and Gas Services Terminal and the Dry Bulk Terminal.

Speaking to BeachNewsroom some residents expressed how beneficial it will be for workers at the Takoradi Habour as the commissioned projects could result in the fast arrival of shipments while some laid out their discontentment of his visitation as they complained that instead of the President travelling to different regions, he should be stationed in Accra and work on solving the current economic crisis being faced Ghanaian citizens.

They assert that with the fast-approaching Christmas season, the President should try to ease up the economic burdens of Ghanaians in order for them to at least be able to revel in this festive season.
