Ghana 3-2 South Korea: Ghana clinch their first World Cup victory since 2010

Ghana began the first half in the same function they did against Portugal in a similar period. However, after 20 minutes, they began to move forward, detecting the tempo of the game.

Four minutes later, Ghana had foul at the left wing of South Korea’s half, and thanks to brilliant idea of Jordan Ayew, he and Mohammed Kudus delivered a superb corner of which Mohammed Salisu converted.

That wasn’t the end of Jordan Ayew’s superb half, he also delivered a fine cross from similar position that resulted in the first goal, to extend Ghana’s lead to 2 courtesy by Kudus 34th header.

The first half ended in 2-0 win for the Black Stars.

The second half commenced with highly motivated Korea fighting for an equalizer with Ati-zigi denying the Taeguk Warriors a goal in the 52nd with brilliant save.

Few minutes later, Jo Gue-,sung scored two quick successive goals to tie the game.

Mohammed Kudus regained Ghana’s lead with a strike from Gideon Mensah’s setup.

And the brace happened to be the winner for the Black Stars with Ati-zigi guarding his post jealously to cleanse his past failures.
