National Labour Commission Schedules Meeting With Teacher Unions 

The National Labour Commission has scheduled a meeting with Colleges of Education Teachers Association (CETAG) and Colleges of Education Non-Teaching Staff Association (CENTSAG) members, TUTAG and all other Unions on strike over their conditions of service and other related issues.

It is also meeting the three striking pre-tertiary teacher unions who want the Director General of Ghana Education Service (GES), Dr. Eric Nkansah’s appointment revoked.

Executive Secretary of the National Labour Commission Ofosu Asamoah in an interview expressed worry at the numerous strikes on the education front.

There will be another meeting with CETAG and CENTSAG members with the Education Ministry this afternoon in an attempt to get them on call off the strike.
