NBA: Stephen Curry’s 47points fired the Golden State Warriors to glory
The defending champions have failed to win in their last 6 games. On Tuesday morning, Stephen Curry dropped 47points which gave Golden State Warriors 116 advantage over Sacramento Kings’ 113.
Chef cooked 17 of 24 from field, and seven from threes. He backed his stats with eight assists, and eight rebounds.
Reporters quizzed Steve Kerr, the Golden State Warriors boss on what he thinks about Stephen Curry.
Steph was just breath-taking,” Kerr said.
“He’s obviously one of the greatest players of all time and he plays so well on so many nights. But this even seemed like something special for him.”
Green on the performance of Curry, referenced reporters to similar performance at last season’s postseason game against Boston Celtics.
He chipped in, “It was very Game 4 of the NBA Finals to me. He just wasn’t going to allow us to lose”.
“Take that with a grain of salt because I’m not saying this game was as important. But you know when to get out of the way. It was one of those times where he was taking over.”
