The outspoken Entertainment critic Sally Mann has given details about her issues with Celestine Donkor.
Sally in an interview with Yoofi Eyeson on the Pempinaa Entertainment Show hosted on Saturday, October 29, 2022, explained the reason for calling Celestine Donkor, a hypocrite.
The whole issue revolves around Celestine’s inability to honor an invitation to the funeral of Empress Gifty’s sister.
Despite Celestine’s inability to attend, she however posted videos of the funeral on her social media platform.
Sally Mann knows the kind of relationship between the two gospel artists and believes that even if Celestine was going to be absent considering that she’s human, she should at least call her colleague Empress or send a message of condolence.
Since she wasn’t able to do all these at a trying time in the Empress’s life than posting a video of the funeral is hypocritical.
She stated emphatically that she’s not going to retract that statement reason being that she has received messages from people that she’s been sued for defamation even though she hasn’t received any letter from the court.
Celestine’s manager who doubles as her husband sued her for calling his wife a hypocrite.
Sally said, she could have considered retracting if she had a call from them on how distasteful what she said was to them even though she knows for the records that calling someone a hypocrite isn’t defamation.
“ I haven’t received any letter from the court and I’m ready at any time to go to court because my lawyer enlightened me that calling someone a hypocrite isn’t a defamatory statement.
She has made a defamatory statement about people too and I have evidence about it so I’m ready for her”.
