The Western Regional Minister, Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah has spoken on the nature of roads in the region.
During a media engagement, the Minister says the Takoradi to Tarkwa road is among the two major roads to be constructed. According to him, contractors are on-site to ensure the deplorable road is fixed to make the road honourable.
He also mentioned the Bawdie to Asangragwa road which is being prepared for major construction works to begin.
Honourable Darko Mensah disclosed that the COCOBOD is aiding the construction of the Dawurampong, Afransie and other roads in the region.
Bogoso -Prestea roads, he stated will take off after the Assembly acquires a grader after approval is given.
