NBA: Kevin Durant and Paul George’s record setting night
Barclays Center and Crypto.com Arena witnessed history being made, and record being set.
At Crypto.com Arena, a heated Paul George took over Clippers to clip Houston Rockets (95-93). In the process, he recorded 35points, 9Rebounds, 6 steals, and 2 blocks.
It was the first time a player has recorded such numbers in the NBA history.
Elsewhere at Barclays Center, Kevin Durant 36points catapulted him to the 19th position of NBA’s All Time Top scorers. His (25752) total points saw him replaced Vince Carter who was formally occupying that position with total points of (25728).
During his postmatch interview with reporters, he expressed his unawareness of the points he needs to overtake Carter. He explained that his focused was on the game, and that informed the shots he had to make.
Despite Brooklyn Nets not having the best of the season, he has accumulated 25+points per game for five consecutive times.
