NBA: Golden State Warriors to be blamed for their own struggles – Steve Kerr
The Golden State Warriors loss 114 to Detroit Piston 128 at Little Caesars Arena. The defeat was the reigning NBA champions’ fourth losses in the seven games they have played this season.
The Dub Nation head coach Steve Kerr opines in his postmatch conference that the defeat should be blamed on how his team played.
Even though the Champions have different team from the team that won the championship, with Porter and Payton Jnr all leaving, Kerr as argued that his team lacks purpose. He explained that what he meant about purpose is for the entire team to have a clear vision of how they want to attack or defend, and this should be done repeatedly.
He again stressed to reporters “The game is connected, and it just feels like we are putting ourselves into tough spots offensively”.
In the game, GSW were outscored 38 free throws and through fast breaks. Kerr believes it’s how they attacked that influenceed how they defended and thereby committing lot of fouls.
Golden State Warriors are 20th on the table, and they will play Miami Heat at FTX Arena on Thursday at 11:30pm.
