Exciting Champions League Games to watch this week

Champions league

Champions league football continues this Tuesday and Wednesday with some judgment day Blockbustering fixtures. These matches are crackers that will determine the fate of some clubs as to stay in the competition or get relegated to Europa. Others too are already out of the competition but will battle out for Europa League.

One of the games that is a decider, is Atletico Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen. These two clubs are out of the competition with Club Brugge and Fc Porto already qualified with 10 and 9 points respectively. If Simeone’s side wins against Porto, they will qualify to the Europa league with 8points irrespective of the result of Bayer’s game.
However, any result that will come from that fixture other than a win will give Bayer Leverkusen the opportunity to still be in an European competition, and that’s by playing the Europa. For both sides, it is a must win game whilst they pray the other loses.

In Group D, Tottenham Hotspur are on top of the table with 8points, Sporting CP 7points, Eintracht Frankfurt 7points, and Marseille 6 points. This group is currently the group of death. Any team stands a chance of qualifying and it’s a must win for all.

Another game that will be exciting to watch is the game between AC Milan and Fc Salzburg. With Chelsea already qualified to the next stage, it’s left with just a spot to be filled by any of the Group E teams. The match between these two will decide on which team occupies the final spot.

Just like the game between AC Milan and Salzburg, the match between RB Leipzig and Shaktar Donestk will also determine who joins Real Madrid. For Leipzig, a draw is enough, but for Shaktar Donestk, it’s all or nothing.
