As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) has launched the 2022 Career Fair for all final-year students in the tertiary institutions held at the Takoradi Technical University.
The Chief Executive Officer of GNPC Foundation, Dr. Dominic K. Eduah explained that the aim is to guide students to make informed decisions and serve as a guide on the choices to make.
According to him, the core mandate of the Corporation is to impact the lives of Ghanaians in key areas such as economic empowerment, environment, social amenities, education and training.
He hinted at extending the program to other tertiary institutions across the country.
For his part, the General Manager of the Corporation, Prof Kwasi Amponsah -Tawiah enumerated some key areas which employers consider before hiring and pointed out that critical thinking with social intelligence coupled with emotional intelligence is mostly considered by employers.
