Consume Locally Produced Food In Support of The Economy – Mahama To Ghanaians

Economy

The former President, John Dramani Mahama has expressed optimism about the economy getting better as he urged Ghanaians to consume locally-produced foods as a way of supporting the economy.

He spoke last night at an event dubbed, ‘Building the nation we want,’ as he proposed some solutions to the ruling government to save the ailing economy.

He advised Ghanaians to be conscious of their expenditure by sticking to their needs and eliminate ostentation as much as possible.

” There’s no denying that we are in desperate times while responsibility for the difficulties we face lies squarely with the Nana Addo -Bawumia administration.

There are things that we too, can do as citizens in our own small way to minimise the suffering we are going through and help government turn the situation around.

A good way to start will be regulate and minimise our expenditure by sticking to only the things we need,” He said.
