Avoid Making Our Roads Into Deathtraps- Mr. Amoako Attah To Drivers

In order to prevent fatalities, Mr. Kwasi Amoako Attah, Minister of Roads and Highways, has advised drivers to strictly abide by traffic laws over the holiday season.

Mr. Amoako Atta made this statement at the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) and the Ministry of Roads and Highways’ Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols.

For him, it is crucial to issue warnings to drivers during this time because statistics from the Ministry show that the majority of motorists do not adhere to the speed limits.

“We should change our attitudes, especially those behind the steering wheels, because Ghana needs each and every one of us alive”.

The Minister stated that if drivers are cautious, the regular trajectory of high records of traffic fatalities during holiday seasons like Christmas can only be decreased.

Additionally, he reassures the populace that the government will keep constructing new roads.
