We Need More Entertainment Lawyers In The Music Space – Manifest
Ghanaian rapper Kwame Ametepee Tsikata,, known in the entertainment industry as Manifest advocate for entertainment lawyers in the music space.
The rapper claimed it’s time for the entertainment industry to evolve past only rapping, singing, and dancing after acknowledging how quickly the industry is evolving.
Manifest claimed that there is a chance for attorneys to have an impact in the field, citing an increase in legal actions in the entertainment sector.
The rapper “God MC” also called for more devoted members of the entertainment industry to support the development of the sector.

I’ve been seeing a lot of legal issues in the African music/arts ecosystem popping up lately. We could do with more entertainment lawyers and other diligent music professionals. Not everyday rapping, singing and dancing.
Anyways, Godspeed to everyone involved in the creative ecosystem. Get a good lawyer, let go of hubris, learn a thing or two yourself, and most importantly be a reflection of how you want to be treated.
