Dennis Nana Dwamena, known in the music space as Kidi has revealed how his old tweet affected him.
The multi award-winning artiste, Kidi says he still get threat for the tweet he posted years ago.
On Wednesday, September 23, 2022, Kidi’s old tweet was dug out. He swiped at former Presidents John Mahama, John Agyekum Kufour and President Akufo-Addo.
His tweet also talked about his “relationship” with TV show host Anita Akuffo back in primary school and many others that people find offensive.
He then apologized to the general public and whoever his old tweet affected. “Years ago, when I was young and ignorant and didn’t understand the implications and consequences of my words, I tweeted things that were inappropriate and unkind. As I matured, I came to be extremely regretful of these actions and how they affected the parties involved. I want to apologise again to everyone for the statements I made, and use this to remind us all to be mindful of the things we say and how they affect people. Let’s be Kind to each other”
Speaking in an interview, the reigning VGMA artiste of the year revealed that, he still get threats for his old tweets after he apologized.
He again added that, his whole family is affected for his actions and people don’t care about his apologies.
According to him, he got surprised when he saw it trending the same day he released his EP ‘4 Play’ and asked himself “Where were all these people when I released my EP?”
