The Western Regional Manager for the Metro Mass Transit Limited David Teye Tekutey has revealed that a white bird with a white cloth tied around its neck was found dead on the premises of the terminal, this morning in the early hours of 5am.
This comes after the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly (STMA) resolved a conflict between some transport operations located at the Takoradi – Accra Bus Terminal.
The scene, according to Mr Tekutey, is surprising as nothing of that nature has happened before.
Mr Tekutey believes the bird may have been used for juju even though they can’t point out the culprit.
He spoke to Spice FM on the issue.
“This morning when we arrived at the Bus Terminal, there was a white lifeless dove clad in a white cloth lying in the lane.
Whatever they did in the morning is none of our business. We work for the government, and all we care for is the safety of our passengers.
No road accident has been recorded by the Metro Mass Transit since the beginning of the year. We only want peace to prevail here.
I have however reported the incidence to the Assembly, and the Police. We don’t have anything to do other to rely on God. Nothing of this nature has happened here before since we started operations,” He mentioned.
