GSA Assures Public Safety Of Suzuki S- Presso Vehicles

The Ghana Standard Authority (GSA) says it has certified and approved the safety of Suzuki S- Presso Vehicles.

A statement signed by its Deputy Conformity Assessment Director, Clifford Frimpong comes after a video circulating on social media questions its safety.

It said the team lead for the vehicle homologation and conformity assessment at the GSA, MacMillian Prentice indicated that the vehicle which is on the Ghanaian market meets the requirement of national standards including provisions concerning the approval of vehicles with regards to the protection of the driver against the steering mechanism in the event of impact.

The statement added that the model is fitted with two airbags as part of its supplementary restriction system for the front passenger and driver and a seat belt with protection.
