1 out of 4 persons still under treatment following an alleged food poisoning by some customers who patronised waakye from a popular waakye joint in Takoradi on Monday.
These consumers complained of stomach upset and some uneasiness after consuming the food.
The Western Regional Director for the FDA, Martin Kusi speaking to the media disclosed that, the authority has suspended all activities of the food joint as part of the ongoing investigation.
The authority has assured the public that it will ensure strict implementation of its protocols to prevent any further harm to the public.
