A Truck with registration number WR-903-14 has overturned at Anoe, a surburb of Kojokrom within the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly, (STMA).
The truck is believed to be carrying about 100 – 200 bags of cement which is to be delivered to a client in the community.
An eyewitness, speaking to Beach News Room, says the car overrun the chock which resulted in the truck overturning.
“Around 11: 35am, the Rhino truck carrying some bags of cement overrun the chock under the truck. The truck further run over a gutter and eventually hit an electric pole shifting the cements to one side of the vehicle. This made the car to overturn. The driver sustained some injuries and was rushed to the hospital.”
The driver has sustained injuries and has been sent to the hospital.
There is a security presence to ensure safety.
