Concerned Residents of Nsuaem Petition ECG over Poor Services
Some residents in Nsuaem a Community in the Tarkwa- Nsuaem Constituency here in the Western Region are demonstrating against ECG for its poor services.
According to these residents, ECG‘s Mission to provide quality, reliable and safe electricity services to support the growth and development of Ghana has been reversed in their missions to the people of Nsuaem.
“My sister was due for delivery but she had to be referred to a different health care. There’s no power at the hospital. Our businesses are collapsing.”
” Our research indicates that every one hour, there is light out. It takes them more than 72 hours before power is restored.”
They lamented that ECG actions, conduct and behaviour are unprofessional and have led to armed robbery cases, theft and other social vices in the community. The Head of ECG at the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Constituency, Ing Samuel Ofori, spoke to Beach News said, plans are being put in place to restore power to the community.
He mentioned that his outfit is ready to pay for demolished rubber plantations to make way for the restoration of power.
