The Ghana Health Service (GHS) is set to organize two rounds of the National Immunization Day Campaign on Covid-19 vaccination.
A statement signed by the Municipal Director of Health at EKMA Health Directorate, Madam Joyce Bagina, indicates that there are 18,735 doses to be administered within the Municipality.
It states that the first round would take place from June 8 to June 12, 2022, and the second dose is expected to happen from June 24 to June 28, 2022.
According to the statement, the first, second and booster would be administered to eligible people including children 15 years and above as well as pregnant women.
The exercise would be carried out in various communities, public health facilities, churches, mosques, schools, markets, lorry parks and others.
