Calbank Holds End of Year Thanksgiving Service for Staff

The Western Regional Branch of CalBank has held a special End of Year Thanksgiving Service to appreciate God for how far the business has come.

The service brought together all staff and regional leadership of the bank to join hands together to offer thanks and praises to the Lord Almighty.

The program started with song ministration from the award-winning gospel artiste S. K Frimpong who dazzled the audience with some of his amazing back to back hit songs.

Ministering at the event as a Special Guest of Honour, Bishop George Hyde-Williams, Presiding Bishop of Light Gate Chapel in Sekondi, admonished staff to be very grateful and appreciative of the opportunity they have today by making maximum use of it.

According to him, many people sometimes look down on the opportunity they have until it’s gone saying, ”No matter how small an opportunity available to you may look today, someone is equally looking for it”.

He called on the audience to adopt the habit of being grateful since it’s a good habit for growth and success in life.

The Regional Corporate Manager of Calbank, Alfred Kwame Acquah, indicated that the event was an opportunity to share to the world what God has done for the institution, its staff and leadership.

He went on further that, “the numerous growth success the bank has chopped including the increase in customer base, profitability, branches and more is no mean of achievements amid COVID-19, therefore it’s significant to use the moment to appreciate the blessings of the almighty in the course of the year irrespective of all the challenges the business faced”.

Speaking about expectations for 2022 with Spice News, Mr Acquah assured customers of continuously improved services that will put smiles on the faces of customers on the basis that a lot of initiatives have been introduced to improve services to customers and the bank will continue to build on it.

He recounted some initiatives including the bank’s digitisation drive which has given birth to the improved Calbank App, New business Center for SMEs, Internet Banking and setting up of a new branch at Cape coast as all moves geared toward improving customer experience.

He urged customers and potential customers to start or continue doing business with the institution for a world-class banking customer experience.
