The Electricity Company of Ghana, ECG has attributed the power outage which occurred yesterday Monday, 8th November 2021 to a system disturbance from upstream. These technical challenges resulted in outages in some of ECG’s operational areas.
In a press release signed by the Head of Communications, Mr William Boateng stated that customers within their operational areas have their lights off as a result of load limitations from Ghana Grid Company Limited, GRIDCO.
ECG is however ensuring its customers who are affected that immediately their intake points from GRIDCO are fully loaded, power would be restored.
