Ghana Police Service has released a press statement confirming that the pregnancy of Josephine Panyin Mensah was staged after an investigation by professional medical experts at the Axim Government Hospital revealed.
According to the statement, 40 police personnel were specifically deployed to trace where about of the lady since the incident emerged.
In the press statement, the police acknowledged that the victim reappeared on 21st September at Axim where she was taken to the Axim government hospital for further investigation.
The medical experts according to the police revealed that the victim was never pregnant within the period under review.
