Two suspected armed robbers have been killed and four others busted for their alleged involvement in some robberies and murder cases along the Kintampo-Buipe-Tamale highway.
The two hamidu Omara and Haadu were killed after some gun exchange with the police intelligence and operation teams. Other detianed suspect also include Saju, Bukari, Berto Saabi, Ali Amadu and Isaac Siedu.
The Police team also led to the retrieval of two locally manufacture pistol and live cartrigdes, machetes, bayonet, pepper spray cans and stun gun
Priliminary investigation suggest that these robbers were behind the killing of the international Journalist, Taalay Ahmed some days ago.
The Muslim TV(MTA Internation meet his untimely death when he was attacked between Mpaha Juction and Sarikyekura along the Buipe Tamale High way on August 23, 2021 in a Toyata Hiace with the registration number GT 7405-16 in the evening.
In a press release on the official Facebook page of the Ghana police, the authority is advising the general public to collaborate with the police by providing credible information on suspect criminals for swift and immediate action.
