Management of Effia Kwesimintsim Municipal Assembly has given two weeks ultimatum to owners of idle Shops/Stalls at the Ampremdo Market to occupy the facility and commence operations or risk losing it by Monday 14th June 2021.
In a public notice the assembly cautioned stakeholders to comply with the directive to avoid the ultimate repercussions
“Failure to comply with this directive after two weeks will result in the retrieval and re-allocation of the stores to those who are in ready to do business there”.
The Shops/Stalls owner are expected to operate the shop as soon as possible and report to the revenue office for re-registration
The Assembly went ahead to advised Landlords /Ladies/Caretakers and Business owners who are in arrears of their property rates/Business operating Permit and other obligations both previous and current to do so without delay
