Supply Champions hosts clients with barbecue
Supply Champions, a local company set up to retail engineering equipment and consumables and provide genuine engineering products for purchase locally in the Western Region has hosted its clients to interact with them in order to know their need to meet them.
The meeting which formed part of the company’s end of year barbeque was fully participated as patrons were served with various treats of delicacies amidst networking.
Some of the clients present at the program were Haliburton, MODEC, FMC Technip, Yinson Protection, GPHA, X2 and Ahema Deliveries with trade associations like the Sekondi-Takoradi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (STCCI) and National Association of Macro and Micro Enterprise (NAMME).
The company located at Tanokrom Pipe-Ano near Takoradi in the Effia-Kwesimintsim Municipality (EKMA) is a one-stop shop where clients can walk in to purchase their engineering equipment and consumables during opening hours.
The company has twenty (20) staff strength out of which seventeen (17) received various awards for their commitment and hard work with the Employee of the Year Award going to Mr Samuel Agyei who took home a 49” LED Samsung Smart TV.
Mr Samuel Agyei who spoke on behalf of the staff especially, award winners expressed his gratitude for the recognition and pledged to do even more for the company to achieve its sales target for the year.
Mr William Kweku Boitey, Managing Director of the company who conducted clients round the shop explained that the company currently serves suppliers, end users and the general public.
According to him, the company’s experience with the oil and gas industry, marine, mining and the general industry is unmatched in that it is able to offer competitive discounts on bulk purchases for resellers.
Mr Boitey therefore encouraged the business community to call in for more business.
He was happy to announce that his outfit has the experience of sourcing products from all over the world hence, prospective clients can talk to them about their bespoke orders.
Ms. Rebecca Appiah, the Expeditor of the company in an interview with Spice Fm explained that the company deals in products ranging from oils and lubricants, abrasives, lifting accessories, tools like non spark, hand and power, marine equipment, and welding and fabrication among others.
She added that the company represents the WD40 brand, CROSBY, SEALEY Tools, Ansell PPE, Molyslip and flexovit cutting discs and grinding discs in Ghana.
“Apart from the above we stock all the major brands including MSA, 3M, ABB, CASTROL, LOCTITE, Denso, Kopr kote, etc.”, she enumerated.
According to her, clients were satisfied about the operations of the company in that products which hitherto would have cost them more money to import were now delivered by her outfit bringing financial relief on the operations of clients.
